About

Training course

The Youth Leadership Training Course (YLTC) held in K.Huraa, is for Rover Scouts aged 18–25, based on the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) Youth Leadership Training Guide and the Youth Leadership in Decision Making (YLiDM) Framework (June 2024). It emphasizes leadership as a core element of the Rover Scout programme, enabling young adults to develop self-awareness, decision-making skills, and the ability to lead within their communities.

The course follows WOSM’s recommended structure, incorporating a four-block curriculum, intergenerational co-leadership, and a holistic evaluation approach to strengthen youth leadership in practice.
